True margin on every item you sell
Margin worked out from what the distributor actually billed, not the last cost someone typed in. Cost against retail, per item, so you know what each bottle really makes you.

How it works
- Cost comes from the invoiceEvery invoice Kessa reads updates what each item actually cost you.
- Retail comes from your registerYour shelf price is read from the register you already have.
- Margin is worked out per itemCost against retail, item by item, and kept current as new invoices arrive.
Why it matters
A register's margin report is only as good as the cost typed into it. When costs move on every delivery and nobody updates them, the report shows a margin you no longer make.
Taking cost from the invoice keeps the number honest without anyone typing anything.
Common questions
- Where does the cost come from?
- From the distributor invoices Kessa reads, so margin reflects what you were charged.
- Do I need to update costs by hand?
- No. Each new invoice updates the cost for the items on it.
