How it works

  1. Margin per itemCost from the invoice against retail from your register.
  2. The lowest are namedKessa lists the items with the thinnest margin, so they don't hide in a long report.
  3. You act on themReprice from cost, or decide an item is worth keeping where it is.

Why it matters

In a store with thousands of items, a few low-margin bottles are easy to miss and expensive to keep missing. A short list of names is something you can act on between customers.

Common questions

How does Kessa decide an item is low margin?
It compares what the distributor billed you with your shelf price, item by item, and names the items making the least.
